Celebrating its inaugural year, HUBSIDE JUMPING is poised to become one of the premier, international show jumping destinations in all of Europe. Sponsored by HUBSIDE and SFAM, the new series, created by businessman and equestrian enthusiast Sadri Fegaier, promises to be a one of a kind event in the heart of the French Riviera.
HUBSIDE JUMPING will take place in the renovated, former home of the Ecurie du Golfe de Saint-Tropez, running over the course of three weeks this spring: May 30 – June 2, June 13-16 and June 27-30. Located in the picturesque commune of Grimaud, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d‘Azur, HUBSIDE JUMPING is a unique showcase for both the top sport and the magnificent scenery of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
HUBSIDE JUMPING enjoys a central location in the commune of Grimaud, within easy distance of two of the region’s most celebrated towns. The first, Port Grimaud, has earned its nickname, the “Little Venice of Provence,” thanks to its network of winding canals and colorful seaside homes. Visitors far and wide come to appreciate Port of Grimaud’s quaint, seaside charms, along with its medieval sister-town, Grimaud, a hillside village built around a storied, 11th century castle, which looks out over the surrounding rocky slopes, rolling woodlands, and fields.
As a successful businessman, and an international rider in his own right, Sadri Fegaier is the visionary founder behind the much-anticipated HUBSIDE JUMPING. The event is part of a new series of top-tier shows in Grimaud, which includes the HUBSIDE SPRING TOUR, the HUBSIDE JUMPING events in June, and the forthcoming HUBSIDE FALL TOUR in late September.
HUBSIDE JUMPING will be presented by its esteemed Title Sponsor, the Hubside web services company, and a subsidiary of the event’s Presenting Sponsor, SFAM. As a leader in European insurance brokerage across the continent, SFAM specializes in the mobile, multimedia, and optical sector.
Putting the needs of horsemen and their partners at the forefront, HUBSIDE JUMPING will be held in a new, sprawling 120 x 70 competition arena, accompanied by a 100 x 50 warm-up ring. A renowned course design team will create tracks for the series’ daily offerings: a range of CSIYH1*, CSI2*, and CSI4* classes for professionals and amateurs, as well as five Longines ranking classes per week. The event will also feature a €100.000 CSI4* Grand Prix during Week 1, a €150.000 CSI4* Grand Prix during Week 2 and a €100.000 CSI4* Grand Prix during Week 3. Event direction will be provided by General Manager Denis Monticolo and Sports Director Eleonora Ottaviani.
